Prophet Negus
Prophet Negus is a songwriter/singer/musician from San Andres island Colombia in the southwest Caribbean sea. In Music since 1977. Prophet Negus writes songs of calypso and Reggae Music, and also soca, kompa, and mento. He is one of the Pioneers who carry calypso and Reggae to mainland Colombia, first with Karib Rasta, together with Ben Green and Orston Christopher in 1977 and 1980. He is also with the icónic Band the Rebels, together with Job Saas, Luis O'Neill, Jaime Celis, Horacio Howard and Loyd Newball the founders in late 1980.
